eFoundation is an initiative that represents the backbone for enabling organizations to process critical transactions and information related to all aspects of their business.

Solomon has tightly integrated both broad and deep functionality into its eFoundation to deliver optimized results for small and mid-sized organizations. eFoundation is comprised of more than fifty modules, organized into seven series that correspond to critical business functions.Available for use with Solomon Desktop is the Web Self-Service Bundle. The Web Self-Service Bundle is a collection of Web-based applications that complement Dynamics-SL by providing Web-specific functions to many of the Dynamics-SL modules. Applications in the Web Self-Service Bundle include Web Employee Inquiry, Web PayrollTime, Web Vendor Inquiry, and Web Customer Inquiry.

 
Application Server 
 

The Dynamics-SL ® Application Server module allows you to off-load the execution of Dynamics-SL CPU-intensive tasks – such as the printing of reports and execution of processes – to other machines on your network. This enables you to control where Dynamics-SL processes execute, whether centralized on the database server, on separate application servers distributed throughout the network, over a WAN or over the Internet.

The ability to submit reports and processes to execute on other machines makes Dynamics-SL users more productive as their time is freed up more quickly to go on to other tasks, instead of waiting for long-running reports or processes to complete. This means that your employees can stay at their workstations while report and process requests are being executed. You can boost performance further or expand your system to accommodate business growth by optionally upgrading or adding machines that run Application Server.

 
Web Order
 
Dynamics-SL Web Order enables your own staff and existing customers to securely enter orders over the Internet, directly into the Dynamics-SL Distribution Series Order Management system. In addition, customers can use Web Order to check the status of those orders any time, day or night, and inquire into current inventory availability and pricing. This increases the accuracy and efficiency of the ordering process by eliminating double entry by phone, faxed and mailed orders.
 
Solomon Desktop
 

Solomon gives you the flexibility to make e-Business everyday business through the Solomon Desktop, which provides employees and business partners secure access anytime and anywhere to 100% of the capabilities of Dynamics-SL ®. It brings an integrated, personalized view of Dynamics-SL to an individual’s desktop and enables better decision-making by providing immediate access to key business information.
